The German-Ukrainian Legal Database (GULD)
was developed by an interdisciplinary team and is still maintained by:
German-Ukrainian Jurisprudential Dialogue NGO,
Scientific German Law Center of the Law Faculty of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv,
Centre of Intercultural Communication and Terminology Harmonization of the Science Park „Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv“
by initial Support of German partners and financing of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany (within the Ukrainian-German Year of Languages 2017-2018).

This database collects and provides descriptions of the German-language terms that have been ordered in accordance with the source legal system (of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, EU). According to the objective of the project for 2017-2018, the terms of the legal system of the Federal Republic of Germany make up the major part, however, we hope for broadening of this database, incorporating the options for classification in line with legal systems.
